MPW announces opening of branch in Delaware Valley area

NEW CASTLE, Del. — MPW Industrial Services today announced the opening of its Delaware Valley branch location here.

About 30 miles southeast of Philadelphia, the branch specializes in industrial cleaning, including high-pressure water blasting and vacuum truck services. The location will initially house 39 full-time employees.

MPW named Brandon McCloud branch manager and David Cronk area sales manager. McCloud has been involved in industrial cleaning services throughout the Maryland, Pennsylvania and New Jersey areas for more than 12 years. Cronk has more than 25 years of experience in environmental and industrial cleaning in power generation, pulp/paper, biomass-to-energy and petrochemical refinery markets.

“This facility is a strategic part of MPW’s investment in personnel, facilities and equipment that will allow us to provide even better service to our valued customers in the area,” said MPW General Manager Jimmy Peck.

The fully operational service center will house water-blasting equipment with pressures up to 40,000 psi, industrial vacuum trucks and a full complement of equipment for utility, environmental and emergency-response services. It will service clients from portions of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland and Delaware, including Raven Power, Monroe Energy, Wheelabrator Technologies, Covanta, AdvanSix, Colonial Pipeline, W.R. Grace and Company, GenOn and NRG Energy.

The 4,500 square-foot facility is located at 19 Davidson Lane, Building 3 in New Castle.
