MPW Elevates Sustainability with Comprehensive 2025 Report

MPW has published its 2025 Sustainability Report, detailing the company’s progress in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives. Aligned with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards, the report establishes a robust, data-driven framework that embeds sustainability into the business.

This year’s report is not only a comprehensive audit of ESG performance but also a visual and strategic leap forward. Through clear year-over-year comparisons, the report showcases measurable gains in several key areas:

  • 5% reduction in electricity consumption through targeted energy efficiency projects.
  • 8% reduction in paper use as part of digital transformation efforts.
  • 6% decrease in workplace injuries, reflecting enhanced safety initiatives.

Behind these statistics is a growing company-wide capability to measure, manage, and improve ESG performance. “Our ability to measure things like carbon emissions, fuel use, and safety stats is getting better each year,” said Anthony Tagliaferro, EHS Manager. “That maturity enables us to set meaningful goals and hold ourselves accountable in ways we couldn’t before.”

The report also represents a step forward in accessibility and design. Clean layouts, infographics, and side-by-side data comparisons improve transparency while reinforcing MPW’s commitment to continuous improvement. For example, increased emissions in certain areas were driven not by operational setbacks, but by improved tracking technologies like Samsara, which expanded visibility into fleet data.

The report’s success was built on cross-functional collaboration. Teams from Procurement, HR, Legal, and others all played roles in compiling and validating the data. Special recognition was given to HS&E Specialist Hunter Cain, who led the report’s development. “The coolest part this year is we finally have comparison data,” Cain said. “That allows us to show real progress, and it’s only going to get more insightful each year.”

While the primary purpose of the report is internal alignment, its external utility is growing. Sales and marketing teams can use the data to communicate MPW’s sustainability story more credibly to customers. Real numbers and visual evidence help differentiate MPW in a market where ESG credibility is increasingly scrutinized.

The impact of MPW’s ESG Program and Sustainability Report was further validated in January, when a third-party contractor management ESG audit increased MPW’s rating by 65% and awarded the company a “Commitment to Sustainability” badge. This external recognition underscores that MPW isn’t only on the right track, but leading the way.
