Employee scheduling and job assignment SMS notifications
Purpose of this page: This page documents how MPW Industrial Services obtains consent from employees before sending SMS/text messages related to work scheduling and job assignments.
SMS Program Overview
MPW Industrial Services sends SMS/text messages to MPW employees who have opted in to receive work-related scheduling and job assignment notifications. Messages are sent from MPW's internal employee scheduling and operations system.
Messages may include assigned customer site or location, shop report time, on-site report time, start date, end time, work type, work notes, safety-related job instructions, schedule changes, reminders, and requests for employees to confirm availability for assigned work.
How Employees Opt In
Employees opt in during the employee onboarding process through an online onboarding form or later through MPW's internal employee communication preferences site. SMS consent is collected separately from the mobile phone number field used for Company portal login.
Consent is optional and separate. Employees must actively select Yes, I opt in to receive SMS/text message notifications from MPW Industrial Services to opt in. Selecting No does not prevent the employee from completing onboarding.
