DECOMMISSIONING
MPW plays an integral role in decommissioning power plants, refineries, steel mills, paper mills, and automotive and manufacturing facilities undergoing consolidation or closure. Using state-of-the art industrial waterblasting and vacuuming equipment, MPW personnel decontaminate process tanks, fume exhaust systems, pickling lines, process piping, sumps, duct work, concrete floors, and interior / exterior wall surfaces.
- MPW's team of engineers has developed proprietary technologies to safely clean fuel storage tanks, chemical feed lines, reactors and other components containing volatile organic compounds
- Technician's vacuum effluent generated during waterblasting operations and transfer it into frac tanks. Specialized equipment can be used to filter and recycle effluent, minimizing waste generation and disposal costs
- To meet stringent environmental requirements, chemicals, contaminated oil, batteries and lead are contained and transported to recycling facilities or stored in approved waste containers. Compatible waste streams are combined to reduce disposal costs
- Decommissioning services include: Abatement, Chemical Cleaning, Cryojetic Cleaning, Engineering and Project Management, Hydroblasting and Pressure Washing, On-site lab analysis, Ultra-high pressure cleaning / cutting (UHP), Waste Minimization & Transportation, Wet and Dry Vacuuming
